Chef Kauneece George spent part of her childhood in Yemassee, South Carolina, before moving to Massachusetts and eventually returning home to South Carolina. Her journey and diverse experiences have shaped her into a truly well-rounded chef.
From casual dining to fine dining, Chef Kauneece has trained under some of the best chefs, gaining knowledge and inspiration from Gullah, Greek, Asian, Spanish, and Jamaican cuisines. With a deep love for cooking, she is always eager to learn, experiment, and create new flavors.
“I don’t just cook to feed people—I cook with love,” she says, and that passion is reflected in every dish she prepares.
For the past 15 years, Chef Kauneece has worked as a traveling chef, helping run catering operations, opening new restaurants, and taking on seasonal work in Martha’s Vineyard. She has also showcased her talents in North Carolina at the prestigious High Point Furniture Market.
Now back in South Carolina, Chef Kauneece is launching her own private chef services, catering company, and food trailer. Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: “I cook healthy food that heals the soul.”
